“Jillian always felt better on the track after training. It advanced her explosive power.  Jillian had an incredible 4x100 season breaking the ECIC track record multiple times.  The warm-ups prior to track meets helped find another gear.”-Mr. O’Brien

“I feel incredible.  I was never able to drive to the basket this way.  My body feels great, recently scored 35 points and love the hand pads.”

“I love what you have been doing with her.  She has been playing very well.  I don’t have to push her to train. She really likes it.”-Joe Dougherty

“I have always been a top athlete in my sports, soccer and track in high school, but I had to work 100% harder to be a top athlete in college.  I first started to work with Steve and Anthony after Anthony had mentioned it after my sophomore year at SUNY Geneseo.  I had told Anthony that I had a great freshmen year in both sports, but my sophomore year in both sports was a let down.  He knew my abilities from watching what I was able to do in high school and told me of how he had been working with Steve to develop athletes to there full potential.  The summer before my junior year, I began to work with them.  They are great. At the time I was the only female athlete that worked with them.  The training was different that anything I had ever done before or had even heard of. I was amazed by just that because they have it planned so well from work out to work out. Not only are they intelligent and know what they are talking about, but they are great people to work with.  They truly want their athletes to be successful.  They actual training I feel is very beneficial to me because I do not like to work out by myself. Mainly because I don’t know what I am doing, I would get in a bad routine, I would lift wrong, and I would feel like I am too much of a boy because I would be working out like a boy at the gym, no girls would do the lifting I would do at the gym because it is intimidating with all the guys over there. They made me realize that I was an athlete, like the boys, and that I needed to train like an athlete.  I like when someone is there to correct my form and to push me through the work out. I also enjoy the encouragement they give through out the entire work out. For me it makes me work harder, which then makes me stronger. They push you with encouragement to make you do what you are able to do.  They make you want to do better because they believe that you have the potential to be a great athlete.  Having someone to guide me through the work out made the difference for my training.  They also get to know their athletes. I think the training was the best decision I have made. I had a great junior year in both sports. I achieved my goals and now am looking to step it up. The hard work ethic I learned from them makes me miss the level of training at school.  I took some of the stuff they put in my workouts in to the stuff at school, but I can tell that if I was training like that all year, my performance would never slip.  They know that in the high schools, female athletes are not promoted or given the best training, or equipment, or high end of the deal.  They make sure that the female athletes are given the training that they deserve with them. Steve tells me all the time his female athletes work the hardest. I guess it is because they have the most to over come.  I would recommend this training to any one and everyone.  Even after my collegiate athletic career is over, I will still work out with them because of the impacts they have on just being fit, healthy and strong.  It is apart of life. And they want to instill that in the athletes.”

“I noticed that I got stronger and more explosive after a few work outs.  This training has really helped me improve.”

 Hello Steve,

I've been meaning to drop you a note and tonight I finally made a point of actually doing it!

I wanted to let you know that the training for Emily and Matt last spring was very effective.  Early in the track season both Matt and Emily long jumped approximately 1+ feet over their previous years personal best!  As the season continued they strayed from the program you put together for them - and just as you said - their distances decreased.  Emily's jump early on qualified her for sectionals, however, she never came close to the distance throughout the rest of the season (maybe within ~10 inches?).

Anyways, Emily is now going to UB and has joined the Cross Country "club" not team.  She may run casually and then see if she wants to get more competitive next year.  Matt is in JV football for the fall season.

At this point we have not decided on whether we will start the training program again with Matt - the ride is just a little long at this time and the school start-up is always a busy time as well.  I do hope to be in contact sometime in the future when I'm in a position to possibly start-up the training again.

I trust that your summer training program was a success and that all is well with you.

Take care,
  Bob Diem
