Primordial Strength Systems™

CREATING THE MOST EXPLOSIVE ATHLETES THROUGH THE SCIENCE OF PERSISTANCE™

Clients/News

By now you should have heard the news about a progressive, advanced sports training system that can be implemented on the feeder level and carried through to the professional level. Your players strength and explosive power will advance in concert with their athletic skills until they reach their most dominant genetic state.

Primordial Strength Systems optimizes athletes!

Buy into this system for your team and you will see why we have high school freshman jumping on 42” boxes. High school juniors jumping on the Skyscraper with two weighted vests and a pair of fifteen pound dumbbells. We cannot wait to see the defenders eyes when they try to tackle him. We explode from our feet directly through our hands to generate unparalleled power. Even the big weights move fast!

In some circles there still seems to be a prevailing belief that strength and speed live separate lives and that speed is ultimately the sole determinant in wins and losses. Let us demonstrate through the use of dynamic strength programming in 4 to 6 week phases that strength, speed and violent explosive power improve at alarming rates. It causes fathers to start training again out of fear of their sons. The difference with Primordial Strength Systems is that everyone with speed can get there fast, but our collisions change games and test the hearts of opponents.

We create CFL tackles that run tight-end time 10’s and 20’s and push bench pressers into the ground in one on one drills. The same program has a soon to be star high school running back producing 3,000 pounds of power in the squat registered on the Keiser Air Squat machine. Get your speed guy there but you won’t roll him or hand tackle him, he’ll just decelerate and make you miss, but he wishes you would bring your shoulders so he could run you over.

Steven Helmicki, Buffalo Weight Lifting Hall of Fame Class of 2005, Elite Powerlifter, World Champion, National Champion and top twenty USA lifter throughout a decade, brings twenty years of training experience to your athletes and access to some of the strongest people on earth. As a founding member of the Village Glenn Crew (which produced some of the best lifters in the World at its peak and assisted numerous collegiate strength coaches, Division 1 football and hockey players and professional athletes in achieving incomparable explosive power), contributor to MILO and Elite Fitness Systems, Coach Helmicki has authored over 75 training articles published internationally.

My World Records have been broken, but your athlete’s journey is in its developmental stage. Don’t miss adhering to strength training that can change the game.

The Primordial Foundation of Meeting Extraordinary People

                                                                                    By The Truth

“Insecurity that fuels unnecessary criticism and emphasizes gossip is the mantra of pretenders.   Primordial ties keep us all driving together towards individual success which becomes the ambassador for others successes. Athletes and trainees who don’t pretend lead and influence by succeeding.”

News of Primordial ties that transcends gender, age, continents, sports, careers and economic status all linked by the Primordial foundation of the persistent quest for success:

While Dr. Hunt was breaking in her new stallion she was thrown and returned to training two days later.  It is hard not to be proud of women in their fifties showing extraordinary levels of tenacity.  Speaking of tenacity Bobbi Hunt trains in her pool the Primordial way squatting off the pool steps assisted at the mature age of eighty plus.  She has more wisdom than almost anyone I have ever met and it gets imparted three times weekly on the youngest Primordial lady, seven year old Carson Taylor who is excelling on the Lancaster mini-monsters girls lacrosse.  Being identified as a tough, tenacious player at such a young age is a compliment to training systematically early in life. Some of the best coaches are all ready talking about a future All-WNY player at this young age.  Speaking of All-WNY ladies, Megan Dougherty of Nichols was MVP of the Lockport tournament and was a 3rd team All WNY selection who is headed to Mercyhurst and participating.in the Olean Gus Macker Women’s Elite after a period of extensive explosive power training and an opportunity to influence the youngest of female athletes.  Speaking of influence, Cindy Hunt, owner of the best Corgi in the US and part of the Westminister dog circuit also committed to the hard style of Primordial Women.

Emily Diem was named one of the schools three top female athletes at Cleveland Hill and along with her brother put twelve inches on their long jumps during the off season through extraordinary hard work.

The A group of Ed Donowick, Sean Painter, Neil Raddu have become men and are off to influence sports and communities at the University and collegiate level.  Their partners, Bennett Marquis who plans a career in law enforcement after competing as a defensive lineman for Albany and Kevin Painter who carries the Primordial ties not only to study at Auburn but to the Middle East as part of Naval ROTC training are all at different levels of the metamorphisis.  The schools names have changed from St. Francis and West Seneca West to Carnegie Mellon, Washington Jefferson and led to the return of Tony Domros and Gavin Geyser who will influence success at Edinboro and ECC respectively.

Kiein Williams neck has made a turnaround and he is actually stronger than last year and headed for his return to Temple confident and thankful to God about second chances.  Reggie Paramoure prepares for his NFL camp debut after much success at Maine.  Lumbering up the hill Antwon Burton who knows the tedium of the path to the top from Cleveland Hill, ECC, Temple, Denver Broncos, Cincinatti Bengals let the kids watch an NFL’er train and dazzled us with a frightening first two steps.

Orchard Park’s Nate Longbine is getting beastly and displayed awesome speed on the Field during Primordial drills with team mate Jeff Tundo (All WNY Lacrosse, Connolly Cup Winner in the searing July heat.

Girls lacrosse elite Taryn Burkholder (All-WNY, WSW school record for goals) and Lisa Hinterberger third team all division from Lancaster showed training intensity that makes a coach long for allowing hitting in girls lacrosse.

Beating out bunts and adding velocity Kayla Czyprinski and Brigette Palowski take their skills and power from WSW Softball onto the collegiate diamond while the summer’s Empire games track was Primordialized by Vicky Luongo in the steeplechase, Lauren Lewis in the Javelin and Nicole Castilloux in the 100 and longjump.

Speaking of track athletes, we thank Coach Mancino for the opportunity to work with some amazing athletes and helping assist in the care of  ¾ of the 4 x 100 sprint relay team that broke the ECIC track record four times and helping find another gear for David O’brien as he went from seventeen to seventh in the rankings.  Good luck to Jillian O’brien at Maine, we look forward to our future conversations with Coach Cusano and are so glad your health is excellent and your posterior chain super strong.  Also, up and comer David Castillioux will be a force in the next few years.

Alison Lewis will take the Geneseo soccer field for her last season and Molly Webster will just begin to influence her Mercyhurst soccer team.

Brad Aaron Shugrue hits twenty-three inches on the neck and Eric Fiorelli is on his way to returning to Iceland for Revenge on the Stone that took his biceps tendon.  They have both been Primordialized at a distance.

Tom Malczewski will step onto the field at the University of Rochester with his football team for the last season before he graduates to the NY State Police Patrol Car.

Ace is trying to let ECC benefit from his outstanding basketball skills and Big Kevin goes from Mckinley all star to letting his big body fill out for Gus Macker play and a future on some offensive line.

Travis Johns grows by the day as a JFK football player and a man.

The summer is still on ice for Shane Bayles who is finishing his Doctor of Chiropractic and living his lifelong dream of the NHL and preparing in a admirably grueling fashion while Tony Marchitte prepares to make other teams wish he skated for them.

A few days and the Lions Classic All-Star Football game will take place and a beefed up Dorian Myles (Hamburg, ECC) and Sean Painter will play for their hometown high school fans.

Coach Joe Cantafio (WSW) reports excellent team size gains and has helped bring the WS Little Loop coaches into the fold of training on the Primordial Strength System.  They also completed their performance center with equipment and layout consultation from Primordial Strength Systems.

Lancaster football coaches were certified in the basic explosive power system and use our running and dynamic warm-up as part of their preparation for the road to the playoffs.

Saint Francis is repeating the same pre-season Primordial format that helped in their dominance a year ago.

The manual series sold in and interest from Australian and UK schools opens international opportunities.

The blessings of associations with greatness as mentioned above, makes bringing news like this a humbling experience.  We (the Primordial family) are lucky to have each other and have experienced and valued hard work, discipline and tenacity.  Be the best you can.

Train to Win. Period.™

Nickel City Challenge Invitational

June 13th 2008

April 14, 2008

Buffalo State junior Lionell Thompson won his fifth New York State Golden Gloves open division light heavyweight championship, but fellow Buffalonian and Northwest Buffalo Community Center boxing teammate Excell Holmes earned the eye-opening win Saturday night at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.

The 27-year-old Holmes shocked the No. 3-ranked super heavyweight and Olympic alternate Kimbo Bethel, by taking a split decision, 3-2, to earn his fourth Golden Gloves title.

Holmes, who won his previous titles as a heavyweight and is ranked seventh among super heavyweights by USA Boxing, was the aggressor throughout the fight, especially in the fourth round when he initiated the action and took the bout away from the Albany resident. There were no knockdowns but Holmes landed a hard right that momentarily buckled Bethel.

"It was a close fight, it could've gone either way," Holmes' trainer Don Patterson said.

Thompson, who is ranked fifth by USA Boxing, earned a split decision, 3-2, over Albany's Marcus Williams. There were no knockdowns in this bout as Thompson did what he does best in the ring, stick and move and outbox his opponent, to improve to 82-8.

Holmes and Thompson will vie for their first National Golden Gloves titles May 5-10 in Grand Rapids, Mich.

K. Williams (Temple Running Back) who broke his C1 last year is preparing for a comeback this summer.  In the photo he is doing sled pulls with the neck.

Nicole Castillioux West Seneca West took the 200 meters and Long jump first place at the early bird track meet at JFK.  She just came off an eighth place finish in the nationals.  Lauren Lewis took third in the pentathalon, which she overcame serious dehydration and sickness to put on a clinic in will power.

The 4/10 workout was a gruelling session that almost lost a few to "seassickness" but turned out to be one of the all time classic football routines at our gym.  Come make it through.  We dare you.

Gordon OBLITERATES 55 Hurdle record
6.88 55M puts Brooks close to legend Zach Musial
Kindley improves again

December 21st

Andy Gordon, ignoring a sore foot and limited technique practice, destroys the SFHS Indoor 55 Hurdle record with his 9.04 effort. This beats the previous record by almost .6 seconds.

Richard Brooks makes his presence known in WNY sprint circles with a 6.88 55 meter dash. This is .04 seconds off the school record set by track legend and SFHS Man of the Year Zach Musial. Watch out Zach.

Adam Kindley improves again with a 42-3 1/2 shot put. Personal bests were achieved by Jake Brady in the 3200 and Kyle Van Note in the 1000.

Solid performances were also recorded by several other SFHS athletes- namely Grant Fiegl with a 18-3 Long Jump and Steve Pfalzer with an impressive 40.8 300 meter run.

Gordon victorious in Long and Triple Jumps
Dylik "CLOSES THE DOOR" in 600 and 4 x 400 relay
Fiegl peeks at feet- still wins High Jump

Kevin Kawalewski, Jake Weber and Brian Ziolo all ran hard (3:55.4).
Grant Fiegl remains consistent, clearing 5-8 to win the High Jump.
Sean Redfield got close to the Sophomore record in the 1000 meter, running 2:55.9. John Twarog had a solid 55 meter hurdle- 3 stepping to a 9.68.

On Friday July 6, 2007 The Sweet Home starting offensive front line christened the new gritty space that Primordial Inc. is conducting training sessions in. Hardcore to say the least.

Both Southwestern and Jamestown football sign on for weekly instruction by Primordial Strength Systems right through camp.

Primordial Strength Incorporated is contracted by Buffalo State's Upward Bound program for training in Houston Gym.

Lionel Thompson USA Boxing's #2 Light-heavy chooses Primordial Strength Systems to prepare him for the professional ranks.

07/01/2007

St.Francis goes 4-0 in 7 on 7 drills at the Ohio State Football Camp against some of the best competition in the nation.

Brian Lavis Buffalo State Bengal Wide-out lept onto a fifty-eight inch box from a standstill after six weeks training the Primordial Strength System. He has sixty inches in him, especially after his groin heals. Coach Helmicki added "He did this after weighted vertical jumps, broad jumps, squats and tire flips during one of his rest periods. Needless to say the rest of the athletes were speechless."

Excell Holmes
USABoxing 2nd ranked super-heavyweight announces along with his trainer Don Patterson signing on with Primordial Strength Systems to prepare him for the professional ranks. Coach Helmicki states "we believe we have the making of a top ten pro heavyweight and potential world champion. The heavyweight ranks needs someone like Excel. He is the kind of athlete who is humble enough to help dismantle the ring and arena after a fight. Pure class."

Coach Helmicki Hise shrugs 1500lbs. for 12 reps on the Bear squat machine and squatted 1050lbs x 1 rep on the Bear squat machine and "it was buried" states Strength Consultant Nick Gampietro. This livened up the St.Francis weight room. This was two days after taking an 805lb pin squat at West Seneca West's weight room, where Neil Raddu called the jump from 705lbs to 805lbs.

06/25/2007

Starting Monday June 25, 2007 West Seneca West Football will bring Primordial Strength Systems in for six weeks of pre-season explosive power training. Primordial Strength Inc.'s President Steven Helmicki is looking forward to continuing his programming team wide. A core group of West's players has been employing the same training that develops professional levels of explosive power for several months. Bottom line says Helmicki "This system prepares you for the next level. We teach everyone to reconsider the limitations they perceive they have and re-focus on full power development. Everyone can play at a higher level using this system."

St. Francis High School Football Team in Athol Springs, New York signs on with Primordial Strength Systems for explosive power training. In just six short weeks the increase in broad jumps was between 8-12 inches and an average of .12 off of ten yard dashes. Primordial Strength System creator Steven Helmicki states that this is just the beginning of assisting Coach Jerry Smith in his return to the top twenty USA Today High School Football Poll.

The BC Lions have signed Matt Roth.
Roth, a First Team All-Empire 8 selection at offensive tackle,
helped lead the St. John Fisher College Cardinals to the top
ranked scoring offence in the nation in 2006.

“Thanks a lot Steve.  I was looking forward to this and you didn’t disappoint.  I can’t wait to start and I hope every team in the school will take advantage of this training.”

“Great Experience.”

“Very well presented.”

“Very relevant hands on training.”

“After having our team utilize this workout, we could never go back to the
static workouts of the past.   For too many years we have relied on
workouts that produced results in the weight room (bench press and squat
max lifts), but didn't translate to performance on the field.   This
workout, as their motto states, focuses on "performance on the field."
Every rep is done with power and speed that translates to their play on
the field.   After a few months of training, our players played with more
confidence and explosive power because that is how they trained.  I am
confident that this workout will bring the most explosive power out of our
players on the field, "where it matters most
".”

The Primordial Strength System was a tremendous success for us.  All of our kids became faster and more explosive.  Many college coaches noticed this on film about how we hit and ran.  This system helped us to have one of our best teams”.-Jerry Smith, Head Football Coach St. Francis High School Red Raiders

“After two workouts I changed my pitching delivery to immediately take advantage of my significantly improved explosive power.  Besides pitching in the major league, in the off season I am a pitching coach.  I am changing the way I teach delivery mechanics to take advantage of explosive power.  To change my mechanics based on a training system says a lot.”

Joe Winkelsas Pitcher Chicago White Sox

“I feel stronger everyday and there is definitely more on my punches.  I will really be knocking ************* out.  I am telling you Steve.  I feel strong.”-Lionel Thompson USA Boxing #2 Light-heavyweight

"After one day of our team going through Steve's explosive power workout, we could never go back to our traditional training. Steve's workout is not only challenging, but, is a great way to build team camaraderie and confidence. The pace and uniqueness of the workout make the kids push each other to levels they would never have imagined. The intensity and excitement in the room is unbelievable when 40 kids are working this hard and loving it. I look forward to seeing that confidence and explosion on the field this season."
